'A Walk at Kilmashogue Passage Tomb' is an exclusive limited edition print created for the campaign Multiply Kindness.
Never before has it been so important for each of us to look out for one another, check up on neighbours, family and friends. We invited artists to respond to the concept of human kindness and what can happen when this multiplies. It’s about celebrating human nature and championing the incredible generosity we all see on a daily basis.
Every print sold in this collection will go towards supporting The Trussell Trust. We will donate all funds raised after artists commission fees and fulfilment costs to the charity, supporting food banks and trying to reduce UK Hunger.
About the Artist
David Lunney's practice involves the undertaking of protracted art processes. Typically, these processes start with the construction of site-specific or portable sculptural works in The Dublin and Wicklow Mountains. These sculptures are generally created less for their inherent value but rather to provide photographic source material for documentary artworks.
The resulting documentary artworks can take the form of prints, drawings or photographs. These images are rendered, framed and presented in a fashion which intentionally obscures and embellishes the original object and moment that they represent.
